A non-practising licence is when a Tutor or Trainer wants to take a career break from delivering training. This can be for any personal reason, such as family or medical time.
The non-practising licence allows you to retain access to the Makaton Library; however, you will not be permitted to deliver any Makaton workshops or training sessions while holding a non-practising licence.
Please be aware that attendance at a Revision Session is required annually.
You may hold a non-practising licence for up to two years maximum.
After two years, you will need to renew as fully licenced, otherwise, your qualification will lapse, and you’ll need to redo a full course of training.
