Is there a free version of the Makaton App?
No. The Makaton App does not have a permanently free area.
The app is included as part of a Makaton Membership, giving members access to the full Makaton experience in one place.
If you're new to Membership, you can explore everything the app has to offer with a 14 day free trial before deciding whether to subscribe.
How does the free trial work?
When you start your free trial through Apple or Google Play, you'll be asked to confirm a subscription and enter your payment details.
You won't be charged when you sign up.
- Your free trial lasts 14 days.
- No payment is taken during the trial.
- If you cancel before the 14 days end through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscriptions, you won't be charged.
- If you continue after the trial, your chosen Membership subscription will begin automatically.
Please note: Any subscription started through Apple or Google must be cancelled through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Unfortunately, we're unable to cancel these subscriptions on your behalf.
What does Membership include?
Your Makaton Membership gives you access to:

Who can use the app?
- Existing paid Members: Sign in using your existing Makaton account. Your Membership already includes access to the app.
- Existing free account holders: Sign in and start your 14 day free trial.
